Great workshop everyone! Dr. Rademacher gave us a very informative keynote speech with an excellent framework to understand today's technological tools. Session presenters shared with us information about NASA and satellites and introduced a new tool for interpreters to tackle issues. We also got a great behind the scenes tour of the Outdoor Theater area and the animals used in the shows - macaws, snakes, a lynx and birds of prey. Thanks Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium for hosting us. Portland and Portage...anything to report??

Thanks for the comment Glenda. I have forwarded your name and contact information to our Spring 2012 Workshop Chair - Jessica Moore. Maybe you can help with publicity?

Roni and her team have done a superb job in updating this website. We are all enjoying it. Are you interested in writing a blog entry sometime?

Hello, Chuck and Pat! I hope to attend this workshop and would like to offer help prior to or during the day, if needed. The theme is great - I'm interested in learning about "social media" and what agencies are doing to circulate information and new practices in interpretation.
The R10 website is very inspiring and prompts exploring new avenues for communication - thank you to everyone who made this happen. Now I need to learn how to use it! See you soon. Glenda
